According to Mintel, the UK retail value sales of scones for 2020 was £52m, 4% up on 2019 and as a staple in many bakeries across the nation, the new addition provides bakers with a robust ingredient to make both traditional scones and variations of, all-year-round.
Requiring just the addition of water, the new mix delivers great-tasting scones with delicious buttery notes and which are freeze/thaw stable.
